Ensuring Lowest Cost Per Component Through Backward Integration
Backward integration is the Key aspect for delivering high performance machines with high quality and costs under control. Nimble Machines with its other vertical Nimble Electric and parent Company UCAM has successfully adapted the backward integration concept in its precision CNC Gear Hobbing Machine.
Nimble Machines specializes into 6 Axis Gearless Gear Hobbing machines where the Work Table is one of the important element, this work table is a product of UCAM’s Direct Drive Rotary Table. The high speed high torque Direct Drive Work Table is powered by Torque Motor from Nimble Electric vertical of UCAM. This backward integration of Work Table and the torque motor ensures the Gear Hobbing Machines are of high performance with best quality. As the work table and torque motors are manufactured inhouse the cost is under control and Customer gets the benefit of “Lowest Cost Per Component” for the Gear Hobbing Machine.
Nimble Electric is a business vertical of UCAM Pvt. Ltd. which specializes into high performance BLDC motors, Torque Motors and Custom built motors. These motors are used in Machine Tools, Defence, Aerospace, Automobile, Medical industries where precision, speed & torque are the primary characteristics which the Customer looks in the BLDC motor.
UCAM specializes into CNC Rotary Tables for Machine Tool. These Rotary Tables are available in wide range for 4th Axis – Rotary Table, Rotary Production System, Multispindle Rotary Table, Large Bore Rotary Table, Direct Drive Rotary Tables and 5th Axis applications – Tilting Rotary Tables, Direct Drive Tilting Tables. UCAM also undertakes projects for defence like Pan & Tilt unit, Azimuth & Elevation unit, Multicopter and Quadcopters where it uses Torque motors from its Nimble Electric Vertical.
